This was the first coffee we decided to take over. At the time, we travelled a lot. And after years of intense work in Toulouse, We felt we needed to change our lives. We wanted a different daily life, Simpler, With more sharing, More humanity. This space spoke to us immediately. We didn’t just want to manage a coffee, We wanted to create a meeting place. A place where coffee is special, Made with local and seasonal products, And where specialty coffee is chosen very carefully, From two roasters: One in Portugal, And another one in France — A connection to where we were born and additions Here, people come to drink a coffee, But they stay to read, talk, meet other people. Over time, a community began to grow, Very naturally. And it was here, In this first space in Bica, That it all began.”
